BOITIER pulls back his kmees, kicks BOND in the stomach with both feet. BOND staggers beck. BOITIGR pulls a kmife from a scabbard strapped to the thigh, jumps to her feet, comes at BOND, kmife poised. BOND knocks over & tall Grandfather's clock between them. BOITIER throws the knife. BOND ducks it, pulls his Walther out of shoulder-holster. Before he can level it, BOITIER dives over the clock, tackles BOND just below the knees, knocks him off his feet. The gum goes spinning and at the same time, MADAME BOITISR's wig comes off, reveeling a men's cropped hair.

BOITIER fights his wey out of BOWD'se grasp, leaving halt’ the dress in BOND's hand, exposing the falsies he is wearing. They both dive for the gun, crashing together, momentarily stumming each other. They stagger te their feet, clewing at each other.

This time BOND finds the falsies in his hand. POITIER Slips in with a judo hold, throws BOND toward the fire- Place. With BOND on his hends end mmees, crewling awey from the fire, BOITIER picks up @ poker and smashes it down acroes BOND's back, bending the poker end mocking him flet. BOND groens. <As BOITIER lifts tke poker to prein him, BOND relis into him, knocks him off hie feet. Grimacing in pain, BOND gets up and behind BOITIER, who tries to rise.

BOND, still holding the falsies, whips them around BOITIER's throat, iike e garrotte. BOITIER tries des-

‘ perately to reach behind him to throw BOND off. BOND

thrusts his arms out, crashing BOITIER's head against the stone fireplace, stunning him. Then he slowly tightens the folsies around his neck and etrengles hin.

CAMERA PANS TO DOOR as BRINON appears in it, the BUTLER

behind him. They charge in toward BOND who huris

BOITEER's body at them, and then runa out onto balcony.

BRINON and the BUTLER get to their feet, start toward cony. ;

MADEMOISELLE LA PORTE leaves the engine rumning, hurries out of the Thunderbird perked at the corner of the road, quickly throws open the huge luggage compartment at the rear just as BOND comes down out of the air in a hissing rush of air from his jets.

A POLICEMAN hustles forward from the middle of the street, from where he hes been shepherding PEDESTRIANS across the strect. He raises an irdignent hand. —

The MAN getting out of the car turns round.

{suddenly apologetic) Ah pardon, Monsieur Largo.... mille pardons.

A smile, a selute, and the next moment he has reised his white baton to club some unfortunete who is trying to walk across egainst the lights.

LARGO pulls his camelehair coat acrose his shoulders. He is a powerful, middle-aged man, a man of elegance but also of authority, 8 man with friends in high pleces, but a man who does not need then.
